Valerio Sansone is a professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Milan specialising in pathologies relating to the main joints - knee, shoulder, foot, ankle and hip.

His main areas of expertise are arthroscopic and prosthetic surgery, and he has had extensive experience of sports injuries. He is also particularly interested in developing alternative treatment solutions through regenerative orthopaedic medicine.

He practises in both Rome and Milan, and lectures worldwide.

Professor Sansone has patients who come from abroad to be  treated by him in Milan; he speaks fluent English and is supported by an English speaking team who can organise the logistics of getting treated in Italy.
